In short: 1 of 75 races run this year & still 1 to bore people with. We should keep quiet about this race. Felt like elite athlete by beating the bore. Pse keep format the same. Colin Date of review: November 8, 2012

In short: Quirky is the word! In full: A fab event - putting the fun into running. Who wouldn't run fast with a bleedin' big wave chasing you (and it was impressively large)! Nice friendly bunch of people to run with, easter eggs at the finish and an extreme bus ride back to the start. Still smiling just thinking back to it - if you get the chance, do this race. In short: Time and Tide wait for no man(or woman) In full: A fantastic event and an amazing concept, Why not try and run 6.8 miles cross country along the bank of the River Severn and beat a 3* bore to the finish travelling at up to 12 mph at times? Chuck in a few stiles, cows and horses and you have the recipe for a great challenge. We had a headstart and perhaps next time a handicap system may increase the challenge for some. Thank you to Simon, Martin, Dawn and everybody else who helped out and to David for the double decked bus ride back to the start. Date of review: April 10, 2012

In short: what an excellent way to earn your easter egg. In full: A joy to take part in. The list of attractions involved with the race were, the ample parking, the clean toilets, the clear directions to follow (water on the left, land on the right), the drinks station manned by danny and the finish with it's supports, a refreshing goody bags(with all you need) and the very personal finishers wooden medal. Also the double decker bus ride back to the start; thanks David. It was human against mother nature in the form of water, cows with some horses. Thanks Michael and Simon for the race. PS loved the muffins! Date of review: April 8, 2012

In short: brilliant idea, brilliantly organised In full: its not very often you get to race nature itself so this as a concept is awesome, then you get to the race and meet the organisers and other runners and this event just gets better and better, everyone is very friendly the course in beautiful and challenging mix this with the meanace of being chased by a huge wave and you have the recipe for a great race. thanks to all that organised the race and a special mention for the double decker bus ride back to the start it capped it all off... please please do this event again. many thanks Date of review: April 8, 2012

In short: Fantastic quirky race with some awesome touches :-) In full: So many positives:
Extremely friendly atmosphere. Great organisation. Very Cheap. Great goody back of snacks. Double decker bus with chocolate muffins back to start. Get to see a 3* Bore.
I would run again tomorrow. The terrain is cross country and mud was hard so cow tracks were very uneven so hard going. Lots of stiles so don't expect a PB, but all adds to the charm of the event.
My only slight niggle is that headphones were banned without notice at registration and I hate running without music. But that's my only negative for a great event. Thanks to the organisers :-) Date of review: April 8, 2012
