In short: Truly challenging for beginners but very rewarding
In full: Even though this was my 2nd race ever and I found it more than a little testing, it was certainly worth it. The more experienced runners gave much needed support, as did the organisers and marshalls. Very rewarding, loved every minute (now it's over!!). I will certainly be doing it again.

In short: Excellent marshals, friendly people, very very very muddy
In full: The whole days rain the day before didn't help. A lot of this course is on bridlepaths/footpaths, ankle deep in places. In the summer, this is a lovely run but very muddy in Feb. No water left at the finish by the time I got back and I wasn't even last!!!

In short: Great race - shame about the poor water supply at the finish
In full: A lovely, if not rather muddy, course. Loads of hills and more stiles than could count!
