In short: Pity about having to stop at the road to let the cars go first

In short: Pity about all the stiles - they are a bit of a hold-up early on. Good marshals.

In short: third year running(no pun intended) i have done this race, some tough challenges & some good surfaces to increase your tempo on. shame about the weather compared to last year. a shoe in for 09
In full: would like to have improved on last year but not to be may be because of the cold and wind or just slowing down?.momento has improved and race is still a must from now on. marshalling was excellent, thanks to all who did such a fantastic job with loads of encouragement. c u in 09

In short: Good, hard race but disappointing organisation
In full: Most of the marshalling was excellent but my group were held up at a road crossing by marshalls for what felt like ages. We watched in disbelief as the runners ahead of us disappeared into the distance and those we had worked hard to get ahead of caught us up. Never seen that before.

In short: Well worth having a go to start the season off.
In full: Well the intention is not to sight see but the scenery is rather good when you are a couple of miles out. My only gripe this year was the delayed start of ten minutes in the cold and the lack of a PA system. You could not here the starter giving announcements. My wife said the queue for the toilets was terrible.. but aren't they always?

In short: Tough but really enjoyable.
In full: Stiles, congestion and a couple of really steep hills all mean that you can forget about a 10 mile PB (unless it's your first time at the distance like me!).
Lovely scenery, superb enthusiastic marshalling, and a nice mix of terrain all mean that this a race not to be missed.

In short: How do you make the perfect race even better? The addition of a quality memento, keep up the good work!
In full: Only a couple of gripes(got to keep the organisers on their toes! The addition of extra ladies toilets and a car park marshall to stop the idiots who in a small car park were selfish and ignorant enough to take up two and even in one case three spaces with one car!
