In short: Nice race but definitely only for brave slow beginners
In full: If you are running at the back watch out for the roads being opened early. You are then encouraged to run on the pavements for safety, however, be careful of dogs and buggys. Spectators were great and the marshalls were very helpful and motivating.

In short: Not bad at all and a bigger turn out than i expected considering how bad the weather was before the race
In full: First time for me and achieved pb for a half by nearly 7 minutes, good organization and setup, excellant marshals and signage, mile markers at every mile very clear, slightly challanging around the half way point as every road appeared to be of a slight incline, my only complaint was the cross country race to the start line via the woods.
Overall very good and i should be back next year.

In short: Great race, shame about the start
In full: This race was superbly organised and marshalled even though the weather took a turn for the worse. Biggest problem was actually getting to the start but after a ditch jump and queueing to climb a locked gate i eventually got there. Good race for PB

In short: Not very well organised, start and finish a bit chaotic.
In full: Considering that this was a high profile event I was disappointed. There weren't enough toilets, or places to stretch/warm down after the race. The goodie bag was a real let down - this was an asics race, they could have put more money into it!! What was the deal with having the last drink station at the bottom of an incline?! People packing up when the slower group was still coming in!
The scenery was lovely though and the supporters and marchalls were all great.

In short: overall i enjoyed this and will be back!
In full: had a problem getting to the start - would have been fine if the gate had been open.
but apart from that it was really well organised. and well done on getting all those roads closed - no mean feat nowadays. enjoyed the loops through town made for a nice start.
ladies in the baggage tent were brilliant - couldn't have been more helpful.
excellent marshalling too.
keep up the good work!

In short: Expected more for a high profile event such as this!
In full: Have attended smaller events this year that have been well organised, found that with this being such a high profile event (pre London) that organisation would have been better had high expectations. Locals support was fantastic! Route was good. Not that Im a goody bag guru, but expected at least a foil blanket or poly bag! Overall good event but came away feeling disappointed!
