In short: Well Supported, fantastic atmosphere, ideal preparation for London Marathon
In full: I booked this race in December 09 as i was warned it was very popular for London Marathon Prep. 3 months later i turn up at my sisters in Fleet without race number & timing chip which are safely in drawer at home some 2 hrs away. The organisers sorted out a replacement, my time registered a PB horay & i also remembered to post back original chip the next week. A Fast course very friendly.

In short: very good run and got a pb
In full: First time running this and enjoyed it very much. Got a PB without trying too hard - yeehaa! Was in the woods when the claxon sounded, but didn't bother me unduly as it has happened in other races. Thank you to all involved for giving up your Sunday to help out. Encouraging marshalls and spectators carry you along. Oh, yes, first time my father had seen me run, which was lovely.

In full: I'm pretty sure the course is accurately measured at 13.1 miles, its the garmins that seem to contradict each other and given that you never run the true line of the race and are always weaving around would account for the extra distance.
Good fun, very well organised so thanks to all who give up there free time in organising such events!

In short: Well marshalled and friendly race with an undulating course!
In full: Really enjoyed the race. Bag storage was effective both before and after the event. Probably could have done with a few race pens at the start-the first mile was a bit congested, especially with some tight corners. Loads of marshalls right across the course and some great local support. Drink stations were really good and at regular points along the course. The route wasn't as flat as I imagined - a couple of the miles were just long drags upwards, but still reasonably quick. First half thus a PB! Would do it again next year.
