In short: A well organised race and a lovely undulating route
In full: This was my first time at Pewsey HM and I'll be back. The route was fairly similar to my training runs so I felt really at home :) and I actually got a 25second PB! :) The t-shirt made a nice change to a medal, all my medals are stuffed in a drawer somewhere but at least I'll wear the t-shirt :). Well done PVRC :)

In short: Good, well organised race with lots of marshals
In full: I can't really comment on PB potential as I was aiming to run at marathon pace, but it felt like it could be fast. There are a few inclines, and a longish hill leading up to 4 miles, but I've been running up steeper in training so that felt ok. There were lots of marshals to show the way and offer encouragement, and pretty much every walker, cyclist and even car drivers I passed seemed to be encouraging us. A great, well organised race, the only downside for me was that I got stung by a wasp somewhere between miles 1 and 2, but I can't blame the organisers for that!! It was nice to have T-shirts available in size S :-)

In short: Countryside and cakes!
In full: This is a fantastic race, PVRC really know how to do it. The course is very scenic, with open country side and quiet lanes. The marshalls were great, friendly and supportive.
T-shirt at the end - if you pre entered makes a nice change from the usual medals.
Will definately be back.

In short: lovely coarse, well organised
In full: really enjoyed this race, the coarse was great, well organised and friendly, with a well stocked cake shop at the end,
my only dissapointment was no medal at the finish.

In short: a friendly picturesque well organised race
In full: Plenty of marshals to guide through the lanes of Pewsey vale. Friendly atmosphere, great views, quaint villages, one hill at 3.5 ish wasn't so bad and a great run down the otherside, and scrumptious cakes.

In short: Much flatter than expected, plenty of marshals - good friendly fun
In full: Really impressed but the number of marshals along the route - great for support and water stations (though no jelly babies LOL) . . a much flatter course than expected, definitely one for a pb next year :)

In short: It may sound daft, but this race is undulating at best, but for me is fast, with 2 fastest time over the distance in 1:26:xx... so it has the potential for speed
In full: Well marshalled except for the water station at 5m... where only 1 person was giving out water... holding on to the cups so hard that when you took it, it immeadiatley split... whilst the other was busy filling up 100's of cups... needed at least another person.... if not 2.

Other than that no issues in a good club ran event, I like and am faster over undulating courses.....
