In short: Great little scenic 10k race just enough to keep you wanting more! In full: I really enjoyed this little run its local, friendly, great scenery plenty of hills and slops to keep it your speed varied and challenged. There could have been more distance markers so I knew where I was at but for a first go at organising this race it was overall really great - good luck for next year and hope to see u there! In full: Good race, hilly in places, great marshalling. Medal bit lame, no water at the finish. An organiser came and asked us what we could do to improve it which I've never had happen before. Better medals as goody bag. PB for 10k 43:08 - would do again Date of review: January 13, 2013

In short: Cheap, a bit hilly, good marshalling, no goody bag, plastic medal. In full: A bit confused at the start when a lady hardly anyone could hear appeared to be explaining every turn and road name of the route. Not sure exactly where the start line was but off we went. A bit challenging on the legs with the various ascents. Generally traffic free. Excellent marshalls. No goody bag. No water at the finish. What my 9-year-old daughter described as a toy medal. Overall a good race for a first attempt by the organisers. Would have been happy to pay a bit more, get some sponsors for a goody bag, give a discount foe affiliated runners.
