In short: Excellent organisation, friendly atmosphere, good field of runners. In full: This is how races should be; well organised with good facilities, friendly atmposhere - welcoming to club runners and first timers alike, a well priced entrance fee with the money going to local charities. The course was challenging in places but this was a great change from those 'fast flat' courses that have no character. Although this means its probably not a pb course for some, the fact that the organisers did not try to overcrowd the field meant no bottle necks or a scrum at the end, providing the opportunity for a good race time. In short: Reasonably fast course well marshalled small field In full: The cooling rain made this good for runners but poor for spectators so its hard to criticise the lack of support. The course is a good one, lots of helpful marshalls. The numbers are kept low which gives a good local family feel to the start and finish area. PBs are certainly possible.
