In short: A nice way to spend a sunday in May In full: A good course, very scenic, underlating yes, but still enjoyable. Marshalls were very encouraging. It's good to have another local race, the start was a bit problematic, just having to run round the curve to start but aside from that it was a very good thought out course.
I will be back next year. Date of review: May 19, 2006
In short: Hilly course, well marshalled In full: A first time for me on this one (think it was ladies only 'til last year). A very nice course - with an interesting water feature about 3/4 way round! Deinitely do this one next year. Date of review: May 16, 2006
In short: Undulating's the word In full: Nice to have another local race - especially one that turned out to be quite enjoyable. Yes it was a bit hilly, and the water hazard was a suprise, but overall a nicely organized and friendly race. See you there next year. Date of review: May 16, 2006
In short: Rural Country Lanes. In full: Challenging course. Agree with the other review. Tough, uphill start. The water hazard was bad news for some. I also didnt realise the finishing line was coming when it did. I missed the opportunity to sprint the last 200 metres. Date of review: May 14, 2006
In short: A fine Sunday morning run. In full: Excellent parking, good loos in leisure centre, after race grub in race hut at reasonable prices, excellent cup of tea. Long walk to start, useful wee bushes opposite start, difficult angled start though, bit messy, quite pretty, unofficial water hazards, not a fast course. Couldn't quite make out exactly which bit was finishing line. Date of review: May 14, 2006
