In short: Great atmosphere and very well organised.
In full: I won't lie - I'm a member of the Ealing Eagles, so I'm a bit biased! But I was genuinely impressed with how well organised it was. The atmosphere was great. I got a new PB, as did quite a few others, despite the heat! Looking forward to next year!

In short: Possible the best new race of the year
In full: It is obvious that this is a race organised by runners and everything went like clockwork, an excellent goody bay and freebie’s which was nearly worth the race entry fee only! Very enthusiastic marshals which is always great. The free photos are a really nice touch. I will make this a regular in my racing calendar I’m sure it will sell out much quicker next year.

In short: Well organized race with lots of enthusiastic marshalls
In full: Hopefully the race will return in 2013 as it was great value for money and extremely well organised. Decent goody bags and lots of encouraging marshalls made racing in the hot weather all that bit easier!

In short: Incredible atmosphere, well organised and very cheap.
In full: Incredibly friendly atmosphere and no sacrifice on quality despite the low cost. Slight hill at the start and if you're quick you will lap people so it isn't electric quick but it is nonetheless very promising in terms of PB potential. Free photos on Flickr is a lovely touch!

In short: Great organisation, brilliant value
In full: my local race, so maybe biased but I thought this was very well organised, with lots of goodies for £12. Excellent value, nice atmosphere, great weather and I got a PB, so would definitely rate it highly!

In short: great race - very enjoyable
In full: i was very impressed with this race - organized very well, great location - pity it was so hot though - and compared to the Richmond River Run, which I did earlier that morning, much better value for money.

In short: Superb Organisation, friendly marshals, and PB potential
In full: The Ealing Eagles are a friendly bunch and they put on a cracking race. Registration was seamless with so many smiling volunteers offering to help at all time. The race takes in a small lap of the scenic Gunnersbury Park and then 2 larger laps until you reach the finish where there were plenty of cheers for all the finishers.

I brought along a friend who had recently started running so this was his first race and he loved it and is already planning on taking part next year.

The course itself is flat so there is definite PB potential although some of the paths in Gunnersbury need some repair work so you do have to watch your step on some parts.

Overall the organisation was superb, the plentiful marshals full of encouragement, water available on each lap, and drinks / fruit available at the finish. There were volunteer Ealing Eagle photographers dotted around the course and all pictures are published on Flickr to download for free - something I have never experienced at a race before and something other race organisers should take note of.
