In short: A great MT race in a wonderful setting In full: Superb organisation and marshalling. Plenty of free parking, admittedly a short walk from the start / finish. Excellent medal, mars bar and drinks at the finish. Quite a tough second half to the race, but that's what makes it a great race. The forest is a wonderful place to run and I will definitely be taking part next year. Date of review: July 5, 2008

In short: Best So Far In full: Superb course, nice scenery, lovely weather and err great hills; especially the last one. Nice to do a multi-terrain where you don't have to go over countless stiles and gates. Amazing Feet are proud of these events and deserve all the plaudits they get. Special mention for the marshalls who were the most supportive and encouraging I have seen. Date of review: February 12, 2008

In short: Great Race - Well done Amazing Feet In full: Excellent Race, not for the faint hearted. Challenging hills with some good muddy sections. Well organised with friendly marshalls giving encouragement. Good atmosphere, good banter between fellow runners. I'd definitely put this on the calendar for next year, however, more preparation required, especially if I want to keep up with my daughter - 5 minutes ahead! Date of review: February 11, 2008

In short: Stunning, challenging and great fun In full: This was my first attempt at a multi-terrain race and I chose a great one to kick off with - beautiful scenery was helped by a gloriouosly sunny and still day and the organisation was top notch. The course was very challenging for someone stepping up from 10k races on the flat but plunging into ankle deep mud was great fun and the final hill made the support at the end all the sweeter. Certainly one I'd do again and its given me a real desire to stick to off road events in the future. Date of review: February 11, 2008

In short: Great Race In full: A very well organised and marshalled race. Course well laid out and marked and nice water stop at halfway. Majority of course is good forest track with a couple of miles of mud in there as well, some 'nice' hills towards the end and some great scenery to run through. Good medal, certificate and very welcome mars bar at the end. Will be back next year. Date of review: February 11, 2008

In short: Great race In full: Great race. Good course, not as muddy by the river as expected. Challenging but runnable hills. Well worth the 500+ miles round trip made to take part &, to top it all, a lovely sunny spring day as well. Date of review: February 11, 2008
