In short: Good run, but train before.
In full: I knew i should have checked the race course; as after 2 miles in we were hit with a steep up hill climb, which defiantly spread out the race. I was hoping that the course was going to be a bit more invloving, other than just running along by the sea, by after 2-3miles looking at the sea on one side and the small huts on the other, it was a bit boring i felt. The second cliff around the 7-8 mile mark nearly killed me. I didn't think the second cliff section was all that good as you had to jump up and down from the pavement as the road wasn't filtered down for the runners.

In short: The Weather was on side!
In full: Finally got to do the race with the weather being kind to us all, no rain or high wind. Really nice run this one, only two hills and one of them not too bad at all.
No goody bag at the end but a nice T shirt and medal, best medal so far we all thought, and nice to get some water.
Well done to the organisers I thought it went very well.

In short: Fantastic race
In full: Weather was glorious, no wind down on the beach. Fantastic views. Well organised. Great medal. Loved the sponges! The family outside their house beating drums and playing the guitar were just superb. And thanks to the man handing out the jelly babies.

In short: Fun half marathon on the coast
In full: I love runs along the coast. Bit of steep climb about 400 metres in but then it levels out. Lots of local support. Well organised. Good 1/2 marathon before FLM
