In short: Good Race and enjoyed it .
In full: Good Scenery and met some very interesting and inspiratrional people who do this distance on a weekly basis. The weather was excellent ,and the course difficult in places. Was hoping for just under 4 hours but happy with 4 hours 18 minutes, all things considered.

In short: Hilly, but scenic course. Very well organised with good marshalling and water/fuel stations. Hope to be back again next year

In short: Beautiful scenery even along the A20. Unseasonal warm weather was a big +
In full: Comfortably undulating after the first climb up the downs around mile 4(?). Beautiful quiet and scenic lanes esp. in the glorious sunshine....but even cold and wet it would have still been a pleasant route. Water/feed stations/marshalls were great. A top event.

In short: Great fun with some lumpy bits
In full: This race was moved from March to November but was still great fun, lumpy route was challenging at times but enough aid stations along the route.

In short: slightly "curates egg" sort of race, very good in parts, but alongside A20 bit more offish
In full: On the plus side, great venue, good organisation, parts of the course very pleasant(I only did the half, so can't comment on the full marathon), plenty of drinks stations, but just didn't like the bits alongside the A20. Not the sort of road I normally run, I thought from the pre race pix some of it might be trails or trax, but not really the case.

Still, my initial impression was might not come back, but, on reflection, was a small race with lots of charm, mainly down to the venue/organisation, so may well run again!

In short: Well organised, great scenery, can't wait till next time
In full: I enjoyed this more than I expected to. I did the half this year, but will return to do the full next. Stede Hill was a bit of pain, but otherwise the course was nicey undulating and not too hard - although bizarrely EVERYONE seemed to find the short flat stretch at about 10.3-10.8 miles particularly hard, but no-one could figure out why. Didn't seem like much of a camber, road surface maybe. The scenery was lovely and the route passed some fabulous houses. Race HQ was great and the hotel staff were welcoming and friendly.
