In short: Lovely family day out, a bit more uphil than the tag gently undulating.
In full: Thanks to those who provided extra water stations, it was really appreciated in the heat. A really well organised event, with a great atmosphere.

In short: Hilly, Hot and it Hurt .....
In full: A very well organised event with a lot of attention to detail ... only downside was the weather ... too hot on such a hilly course. I suffered badly and came home 4 minutes slower than normal! ... great event but I suffered for it!

In short: Generally good, but marred by lack of ladies' facilities.
In full: The hills and heat meant it was never going to be pb potential, but a pleasant race nonetheless.

I know it didn't affect me directly, but it should be possible to cater for ladies to a greater extent than giving them their own portaloos.

In short: I do this every year.support through cockpole green was great , with the local residents supplying extra water stations and garden hoses which was most welcome on warm runs.

In short: Warm day but a very friendly and extremely well-organised race.
In full: This was the first time that I'd done this race and I much enjoyed the experience. Lovely atmosphere out on the course, families and pubs had set up impromptu drinks stations and there was even an optional shower en route. Lovely, picturesque, scenary but I was a little too busy to take it all in at the time. Running the race in conjunction with the Berkshire 10k Championships ensured a competitive field at the front but nonetheless this was suitable for all abilities including a remarkable 81 year old gentleman who beat his time of last year by two minutes. That aside, with the undulating course (nothing remotely severe though) and the hot weather this is unlikely to be a race for setting a pb. I'll definitely be booking my spot for next year all the same. Thanks to all the organisers: a great event.

P.S. For those with young children it's also useful to know that there's a play park near the start to keep the youngsters occupied.

In short: Well organised and friendly, but one of those races that seems to have more uphill than down. A real challenge in the heat.

In short: A well organised and friendly race
In full: This was my first visit but will definitely be back. The extra water and 'hosepipe showers' were very welcoming. Thanks to the organisers, marshalls and water station volunteers.

In short: Great race
In full: First time for this one, and first race after a warm London Marathon, so I was a little nervous about the heat. Ended up doing a PB on a nice course with some challenging inclines (not really hills).
Great organisation and atmosphere - a bit like a summer fete.
Thanks to all the locals who were handing out water, very appreciated.
Look forward to next year.
