In short: A great race and plenty of potential for PB's!
In full: This was a great race! Nice route, great atmosphere, nice weather and excellent PB potential - I managed to knock three minutes off my PB!

The zig zag uphill path in the middle of the race was the only I could fault this race for but that is only a minor gripe!

In short: Loved it!
In full: Really well organised race and the wind held off making it easier than last years. Will hopefully be there again in 2008!

In short: Sometimes tedious but good PB course
In full: As I live in Bournemouth it is nice to leave home at 9 am for a 9.30 start. Makes a change from all the travelling. I find it difficult to keep going when the first 5 k are stretched out ahead of you and started too slowly but felt really good at the end. The "hill" got a bit crowded so you could run up it even if you wanted too.A bit more training and I might even get under the 1 hour mark.

In short: A nice big friendly event
In full: A nice friendly event with the start and finnish lines close to each other and something for spectators to be watching for most of the time. With the town centre nearby it also makes for a decent day out as well. The course was fairly easy being mostly flat with just the challenging zig-zag path up to the cliff top to break the pace caatch the unwary. Two water stations and Kilometre markers every km were welcome and the marshals were plentiful but unobtrusive. A very nice experience.

In short: My first ever race and it was great. The zig-zag was hard but great marshal at the top telling us how well we had done so worth the effort. Whetted my appetite for more races.

In short: Perfectly managed--had great time and was sufficiently challenged, especially that uphill spot!

In short: Chilly sea wind but flat course
In full: Sure it's a great course for a PB, trouble was we had a long drive the day before to get there, then rather rashly guzzled a couple of glasses of wine the night before, then parked next to the wrong pier, so had to run the 2.5km to get to start line, so was understandably a bit knackered by the time the race actually started! Still, did it in 46mins, not bad!
