In short: Great race, great marshalls and loved the picnic in the goody bag!
In full: Really friendly race - marshalls encouraging all the way round - managed only 3 laps due to a lack of training over the summer, making it a great race if you want to give it a go! Recommended.

In short: Worth muddying your trainers for..
In full: VERY friendly and enthusiastic organisers really brought this race to life. The grass and pavment course mix was fine as the course was pancake like in its flatness and 6 laps meant it was good for pacing. I was not sure of the actual course distance though 13.1 or 13.5 miles?

In short: Come And Meet The Cheerful Londoners At The Hackney Marshes HM
In full: The best thing about this race was the people who organized it. I appreciated the little touches such as the lady who went around to have a chat with everyone before the race and the oncourse encouragement. I don't think the course has pb potential because its multi terrain nature works against fast, effficient running. Nevertheless, it comes highly recommended.

In short: Friendliest race by far
In full: Great atmosphere - marshalls cheer you on by name. Not sure how accurate the measurement of the course is, but as you've six equal distance laps it's great for assessing your pacing.

In short: As everyone else, great marshalls, nice flat course and the most friendly race I've entered, many other races could learn from this
In full: Nice flat course, not sure it's 13.5 miles but if it was I ran very quickly! Very beginner friendly also. Only slight gripe was not knowing where the finish was, a separate funnel would have been nice as other runners were running round me for another lap as I stopped. Excellent marshalling and it really did help you seeing the same faces each time shouting your name.
