In short: Really well organised 1/2 marathon. First attempt at Gosport and it is a fast course, knocked over 2 minutes off my PB from back in 1999, so well pleased.

In short: Does what is says on the tin!
In full: Great race, excellent organisation and a what is the problem with the views? Someone else on here has already said it but I was concentrating on getting around as quickly as I could. I spent most of the time staring towards the next person to pick off! I almost missed the view of the IoW as I was trying not to fall apart.
Well done and thanks to all involved!

In short: Great local race
In full: I've done this race a few times and I am always impressed by the organisation. The final couple of miles are along the seafront, the course is fast and the sections in the airfield are traffic free. I got another PB in 2012 and look forward to next year.

In short: "Fast flat course", they weren't kidding!
In full: What a smoothly run event, very well organised from start to finish. Excellent marshalls, very encouraging, well laid out course, good water stops and some jelly babies thrown in too.

I saw plenty in advance saying that this was a good course for a PB, well they were not wrong! I absolutely smashed my PB on this course, took almost 10 minutes off it and finished in 1:45, so so happy about that.

The goody bag was great, a nice tote bag with cake, banana and drink inside, what more could you ask for. Medal is nice as well. All in all superb, very pleased with all of it. A big thank you goes out to the organisers.

Will I be back next year, oh yes!

In short: A great day & really well marshalled
In full: Really nice route to run and good regularity of water stations. The route was clearly marked by marshals who were all very encouraging and enthusiastic. Coming into the finish was great; lots of support and good finishing packs. I had a very enjoyable run and the weather was good to :)
