In full: Superbly organised, fantastic scenery, and a real sense of satisfaction when you finish. You really feel you are part of the 'rat pack' from beginning to end.

In short: hard but enjoyable
In full: realy tough but the scenery and middle section makes it enjoyable.second time for me and i'll be back next year.only gripe is winners out side of eyam don't get there prices on the day but the locals got theres on the day and a presentation think that was a bit mean.surely you could have made there day a bit more special don't for get its the outsiders that make the numbers up.see you next year.

In short: My favourite half marathon.
In full: Absolutely cracking race. Brutal course with some serious climbs and fast descents. Great route along quiet country roads with fabulous views throughout. Plenty of drinks/sponge stations and good support from the marshalls and spectators. Weather was perfect and a nice pint of Theakstons in the village pub afterwards. What more could you ask for?

In short: Hard, and then some....
In full: Fabulous organisation, plenty of well manned drink stations and a great day out.
If you don't 'do' any hill training(and I do)give this a miss. Otherwise a brilliant experience. You must do it once, but not sure if I can force myself to suffer the pain again!!
