In short: Great race, the weather creates a very different race each year.
In full: I dont know why I like this race so much - I seem to shiver the whole way round, and my calves get so cold they become numb. Maybe the best part is seeing my wife laugh at my lunacy as I go round - Its her revenge for all the DIY that I miss in the run up.

In short: Excellent fun - as a first timer - loved getting muddy and wet - will be back next year!!!
In full: A bit of a queue for toilets before start - plan ahead or use the bushes! Race good fun - fab atmosphere, even for a slow one like me! Shame some people avoided the puddles - surely that's half the fun!!! Didn't enjoy queue-ing at one point for a particularly deep bit - need to funnel everyone in or make it clearly optional. Disappointed with my time - but it just means I'll have to be faster next year!!!! Been raving about it to everyone - they all think I'm mad!!!!

In short: Organisation gets better but race seems to get easier
In full: Great introduction to off road running but organisers should think about introducing new challenges, otherwise unlikely tempt runners back every year.

In short: Lots of fun and games
In full: Really enjoyed this, slightly longer than the earlier one, but none the less, great to do. Wish more people would join me in doing these events in fancy dress - the cow suit didn't slow me down (although my calves hurt...) and it made fighting in the puddles all the more fun! Recommended!!!
