In short: Always a good race apart from the dodgy distance markers at the end
In full: A great race with a good atmosphere. Is far harder than the 8miles suggests due to terrain, water 'features' and the fact it was more like 9 miles this year - with the extra mile added in at the end!

In short: Really fun, great way to end the year with
In full: My first Grim challenge and I really enjoyed myself. I just giggled the whole way around. A real sense of achievement crossing the line. Being only 5ft tall some of the ponds came up to my waist - certainly a talking point!

In short: Fantastic 2 days of fun
In full: This was a brilliant day out, unfornunately I got caught in traffic on M40 so missed the start by a few minutes on sat, I dressed as Santa on this day & soon found my friends, even though they never waited for me, I`ll remind them of thet on the 25th.
Sunday was a complete different story, the crowd was massive compaired to saturday, but that didn`t stop the groundsman filling up the ponds, well done lads & lasses see you all next year, a big hello to my special friends Lisa & James & especialy Leona Wyatt for doing both days with me.

In short: what a laugh
In full: Cold, wet, muddy and great fun. Once your through the first 'puddle' it's one long mix of drying slightly before plunging into something else either wet or sticky and usually both. nice t shirt as a momento but after doing this once you'll be hooked

In short: Made me proud of myself!
In full: A great race and very challenging. The course was more or less the same as last year and so when I finished a whole seven minutes earlier than last year I was really chuffed. I loved the t-shirt, much better than last year's medal.

My only moans would be the same moans I had last year. They need another water station along the route and there isn't anywhere near enough marshals along the route. I ran for ages & ages without seeing one marshal. The course is very tough and if there had been a serious accident or incident it would have taken ages for help to get to that person. It would have been up to the competitors to raise the alarm and how many runners doing a race like that would have been carrying a mobile phone?
