In short: Lung busting, knee grazing, Shite covering fun.
In full: Lost my shoe, had to run back into the mud in my sock.
Submerged my crown jewels in freezing water, gashed my knee had ended up on antibiotics for a week. BUT I FINISHED!
Totally mad but best race I've done for fun and challenge!

In short: Dirty.........real dirrrrty
In full: If you like your running clean, at a fairly constant pace, with no obstacles or bottle necks, DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!
If your up for a Sunday morning getting down and dirty in the Gloucestershire countryside, and your prepared to get around 8.5 miles any way you can. You've got to experience this at least once in your life.
Theres more mud than the Somme, they send you through rivers (next to perfectly good bridges) and judging by the amount of $hit, I recon they drive cows round the course before the runners start.
DO IT.....ITS GREAT!

In short: Best race of the year
In full: This is proper cross country. Losing shoes in the mud and lung busting hills. It should be put on the national curriculum!

In short: Mud, guts and glory!
In full: Mud, guts and glory!! Bloody loved it- especially trench full of smelly mud after 2 miles, the rivers and the view from the hill over the Severn Vale...Only annoyance: girly runners squealing and whingeing in the muddy bits- it's called a f****ing slog- what did you expect???
