In short: Dirty, cold, wet muddy and FANTASTIC - great fun, atmosphere and organization
In full: You have to have a go at the slog - everyone has a tale to tell of the horror, watch the videos on the website and you start to feel a little bit sick! Forget everything that you thought it might be, put on some old trainers and have a fantastic morning run. The best atmosphere of any race this year with abilities from elite to fun run. It is hard but when your waist deep in mud and water its lashing with rain and someone dressed as a ballet dancer is running past it just makes you smile.
A MUST DO event

In short: Another cracking race
In full: Did this last year for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed it. I like the fact it's on Remembrance Sunday and the two minute silence before setting off. The marshalls are all very friendly and cheerful - the jelly beans were marvellous.

Great race and I'd highly recommend it.
