In short: Awesome scenery and organisation
In full: For a first time race organised by a church group, stupendous attempt, puts many Running Clubs to shame. Superb course, challenging, great views. What more is there to be said. Will definitely be there next year, hope they revise tha date though as it was too close to other local events. Brilliant.

In short: Lovely hills + great cake!
In full: This event was well organised and for a small race had a good atmosphere. The hills were very enjoyable, although I would have preferred more off road sections. My garmin clocked this at 6.36 though. At the 6 mile marker my garmin confirmed 6m, but then it felt like a long stretch from there to the finish, and it must have been, instead of 0.2, it was 0.36. However, given that this isnt the sort of race where you'd be chasing a PB I guess most people wont mind.
Thanks to all the people who gave up their time to dish out coffee and cake. This was much appreciated and rarely seen at running events (mostly at ones organised by walkers), this was a nice touch and very much appreciated. I hope to be back next year.
