In short: A good race, but being near the back I could have done with more crowd support!

In short: A superbly organised race
In full: If you yearn for the pre-Sunday trading hours days, when runners did have the roads to themselves, then get and do this one next year. Superb organisation, road closures, great community ownership of "their" event and not a single chain store rep - stamping his feet over lost business - in sight

In short: Great course and atmosphere
In full: First ever race for me so nothing to compare with, very friendly crowd, thought i was lineing up for the start only to find it was the queue for the loo (definately need more)Started way back at 2 hour post with only a few people behind me, very slow start but finished ahead of hundreds that must have started in the wrong place. Will definatley be back next year

In short: Directions to venue were very poor but once there everything else fine!
In full: Directions to the venue were very poor for people not familiar with the area. Too many people start in the wrong place, do they think they'll get round quicker if they start nearer the front?? Still, it happens at every race!!

In short: Good (undulating) race
In full: Excellent set up, very well organised but disagreements on undulating or hilly. Nice to get a momento but don't expect the quality of the BUPA runs. However, you get what you pay for. Good cheap day out and lots of (fun !!!)

In short: Well run autumn half
In full: 5th time for me i doing this one, and the organisation gets better and better. water at the beginning, was helpful, and also bottled water at the end. Weather was very mild this year. Nice run, undulating most definitely, not many PB's to be had i imagine, but my best time, for the last 3 years, enjoyable race once again, injuries permitting will be back next year!
