In short: My first race! I beat my personal best (for what it's worth) and I DIDN'T COME LAST!!! Really enjoyed it.

In short: My local. Four miles down and one steep one back up which gets you every year.
In full: Think the organisation is pretty good here, although I live only half a mile from the start, so tend to just turn up, warm up, run and go home. Friendly bunch that run it and a good atmosphere. Course is ok apart from the hill at the end. I run this loop a lot, but normally the other way round as I prefer a long steady climb to the hellish steep one that starts the fifth mile in this race.
