In short: Great atmosphere, tough course, Fabulous day!
In full: I've never seen event organizers look so calm and relaxed. This race ran like clockwork. Well-attended, well-supported, I would recommend this to everyone! Start running now!

In short: Top race!
In full: This is one of the very best organised, scenic and friendliest races I have competed in. Everything from location to facilities are fantastic.
I cannot recommend this event any more highly, and wish to thank everyone that contributed to making it a memorable and FUN race.
Although "undulating" is a very generous descriptive for this course!
It's a really tough one to get a PB on, but don't let that dishearten you, I managed it :) so just run it and enjoy it!!
I'll be back!

In short: A fantastic, friendly 10K near the Loch Lomdond National Park. Great scenery to distract you
In full: What a great race. This is my 3rd time here and I'll be back next year. Great location, generous goody bag with fab T-shirt and medal too. A warm reception, helpful marshals and great banter with fellow runners. Balfron you put on a good show. Well done the organisers.

In short: Friendly race with a reasonably tough course
In full: First time running this and only my 3rd 10K. The course is hilly, but that's part of the challenge although seeing the lead runners coming past you at 3.5km is a bit gutting.

The country road is (largely) closed to traffic so the biggest hazard is the 'country' smells at on or two spots and the well signposted potholes.

Very well organised for collection of numbers and chips at the start and for the goody bags and t-shirts at the end. Special thanks to the younger volunteers who helped remove the chips from tired legs.

Despite the course still managed a personal best so extremely chuffed and will be back next year.

In short: Brilliant race but oh those hills!
In full: Excellent organisation and local support. "Undulating"(ie hills start to finish!) but the views - despite the weather - made up for it. Will definitely be back next year.

In short: Another Brilliant 10k from Balfron Schools
In full: My second year here and I will keep on coming back. Nice scenic out and back course with some 'great' hills on the return. A warm welcome from the local school and flawless organisation as always. Good quality medal with the date embossed on it (better than when its printed on the ribbon I think).

No fuss, you turn up, you are welcomed, you collect number, you run....Simples!
