In short: Well run race, where times were spoilt for the second year by Gale force winds
In full: A very good race, well marshalled good track start/finish, just a shame about the wind 2 years in a row otherwise my PB would certainly be here.

In short: great race. Definite pb course given right weather conditions.
In full: Great race despite the wind yet again. I preferred the start this year with the whole track free of cones. It made it much easier to negotiate and safer too. Would defo do it again.

In short: many thanks to the marshalls for braving the wind and rain,
In full: considering the weather this turned out to be quite a pleasant run. slightly disappointed with the medal and how come by paying on line before the event did i have to pay more than someone paying on the day! i know it ensured that i had a place but doesn't seem much incentive to book early.
Will be back next year for a crack at a PB.

In short: Despite the best efforts of the weather, a good race on a flat and uninspiring course that given the right conditions would be perfect for speed and PBs
In full: A hectic start around the running track led to a number of people cutting runners up in the early stages, especially on leaving the stadium and heading on to Stamshaw promenade. However after first mile, jostling settled down. Good to see a number of supporters out cheering despite the appalling weather. Final mile was real slog into that 35mph wind, one day I wll run a race in Portsmouth when it isn't blowing a gale or lashing down with rain.

In short: Cold ,wet and windy.
In full: It has the potential to be a very good race but, nobody can control the weather. Same as last year the wind was in your face for a lot of the time. The start was a bit "iffy" as it seemed to take a lot of runners by surprise and the timing display at the finishing gate wasn't working.
I PB'd but didn't really enjoy the race but that says more about me than the event.
Overall it was good and I will enter again.

In short: Windy but still fast
In full: Well the weather couldn't be helped - but blimey it was like running in a wind tunnel at the end. Please keep the drinks coming for the slower runners next year!

In short: OK race but could be alot better
In full: The only real thing going for this event is the PB but last two years the wind has killed that. The Mountbatten Centre is a bit of a dump now, a complete rabbit warren and parking a problem. Hopefully there will be better facilities when the extension is finished. PS Why no clear finish, and why no clock on the line?
