In short: The Best of British in all respects. Stunning scenery, rough and ready competitors, a fry up and a madcap race director. Glorious race.

In short: Fabulous day, fantastic route, amazing scenery and a a super race
In full: From the bum bag before the start and the rendition of Jerusalem at the start to the long sleeve top (complete with names) & medal as you crossed the line and finally to the cooked breakfast and relaxing swim, this race was just brilliant.

A stunning day for a jaunt in the Surrey hills made this super. The there-and-back route was great for seeing everyone else and giving everyone a cheer along.

I had an awesome day, and did much better than I expected to, given all those hills. It was a lovely race & I hope to be back again...and I can only hope the weather is as perfect as it was this time. Thanks to Dr Rob for a superb race.

In short: Great, tough, off road race over hills and back again
In full: Although this is a tough marathon it is great for all levels of runner, as long as you put in a decent first 10km, then ease back and enjoy the great view. excellent scenery and brilliant company. Great goodies at the end too, long sleeve top, medal. Top Race!

In short: Tough ascents and descents, fantastic scenery & organisation, well worth it
In full: One of the toughest I've done in terms of terrain & although had no concerns when reading about the 1 hour 15 minute cut off for reaching 6.5 miles, it was closer than I would have liked due to being mainly uphill to there (or so it seemed). I enjoyed it, but don't feel I gave it my all - few issues during the run & stopped to take a few photos of the views, so will definately aim to do it again & do myself justice.
