In short: the views made up for the hills!!! In full: My first time in this race but run round here with my club. Thank you to the organisers for going ahead with the race, a bit slippy in places going up but I had a great race and came in well under my est. time. Date of review: December 30, 2010

In short: A great challenging course - welll organised In full: Thanks to the organisers for allowing this race to go ahead despite the icy patches in places. As adults, I'm firmly of the opinion that we should be responsible enough to make our own minds up unless conditions are really bad. All in all, this was a 'well above average' race. Pace it right and you could still get a half decent time despite the inclines in the first half. Get your pacing wrong and go out too fast and you'll most likely suffer!! Be warned!! In short: fell race on the road In full: I had been out of action for a few months, using this race to fall in love with running again. Great race, challenging 4.5 miles of hills then rest downhill. The roads were icy, but thats what you expect this time of year. Just be careful. The pudding and water at end were welcomed, times printed 30 mins after winner finished. Good value food on offer too. A great annual race. Date of review: December 13, 2010
