In short: Very enjoyable - long way from home so unlikely to run it again
In full: Very enjoyable run through lovely countryside in best weather of the weekend. Stop-start through school gate is off-putting but, otherwise, I was very happy. Surprised it's not a 'Run Britain' race, not that it really matters to an old charity runner like me.

In short: Great course!
In full: Really nice course with lovely scenery, great support from the locals and really well marshalled. Only complaint is the slow start but apart from that, a great race. Will definitely be back next year!

In short: Timing and Prizes?? Otherwise a decent race
In full: A really decent goody bag was the highlight. However, the same organisers had similar issues with timing at the Fradley 10k this year. Saying that they are an events company it's shocking it would be great if there were
prizes for the best team and also in age categories - like club events. The course was well marshalled and felt really safe. Would I do it again - maybe, but I do like supporting clubs and not events companies.

In short: Very fast course, with pleasant scenery and support
In full: Enjoyed my first time here, and smashed my PB, which always makes for fond memories!
Course is very flat, with just a few short bumps with a couple of miles to go.
Ample parking at the hq, and good organisation throughout. Bottled water was gratefully received compared to the usual plastic cups.
Scenery was a mixture of strong smelling fields of rape, open views, and small villages, with some good support scattered around.
Will definately plan this one in for 2013!

In short: Fantastic race made all the better by the weather.
In full: Second year doing this race and it was just as good again. An awesom flatish course with some great views. Only downside as others have said is the bottle neck of a start. The official times were a couple of minutes out according to my garmin but overall fantastic.

In full: Nice race, flatish, quick course, well organised and marshalled.Start and finish are a good mile apart so there's a good warm down walk back across town to your car.The finish was good and well supported on parkland overlooked by the cathedral. Will do this again but hope the timechip problem regarding slow official times as apposed to garmintimes is sorted out.

In short: Great weather, great event.
In full: This is the second year I have completed this event so I knew what to expect. I really enjoyed it. The organisation and marshalling were excellent. A lovely route made better by the sun. Plenty of water stations - I appreciate bottles of water as opposed to cups. The support by the locals was also very uplifting. The setting for the finishing line is one of the prettiest I have come across as a runner.
I liked the glass momento I received at the end but hated the baseball cap. Cheap and nasty. A T-shirt would have been much better!

I will certainly be returning again next year.

I am a big fan of KP Events. Never yet been disappointed by any of their running events. Well done!

In short: Superb race through the countryside around Lichfield
In full: The marshals around the course were excellent. Really can't fault it, good support in the villages and at the end. Nice memento as well. A few gentle ups and downs along the route but thankfully the last mile was downhill and took 3 mins off my pb, very happy!

In short: A good all rounder
In full: Really enjoyed this race, the support was fab and a bonus with the roads being closed. Very well organized, mile markers in all the right places and water stations frequent even one energy drink station. Course was mildly challenging though I still managed to shave 9 mins of my PB! so couldn't have been that bad :-) A great finish and goody bag with hat, glass trophy, sis gel, sis energy bar and even a banana! Also free bus back to start but i chose to do the mile walk very easy to find way back! Definitely a good race and im looking forward to the other two KP events Im doing this year if they are run in the same fashion. In short: Lovely day, lovely course, lovely run
In full: Really enjoyed this run. Yes it was a little cramped at the start but so what it was only for 30secs or so before it opened out. Loved the course as i much prefer country lane runs rather than city centre runs. It was a great course on a fine day.
Big mention for the support at Whittington Fradley and at the finish,it was great to see complete strangers out and cheering us on and it really does make a difference to us runners.
The coach ride back to the start was a nice touch as well.
i will certainly return to this run next year.
