In short: One of the best
In full: I return every year to run this race. It is now easier with the ditches nearer the end rather then first. A bit disappointed they were not full with water this time round. This must be one of the friendliest races . Keep up the good work and look forward to running the 10K again in July

In short: Friendly race set among nice scenery
In full: The 10min walk to the start means this is not really a race for the spectators (especially little ones).

Everything else was really good though - well organised and friendly, with a nice scenic route taking you through the forest. After a pretty firm and gravelly 7/8k, the ditches and slog up the muddy field came as a bit of a shock!

A agree, the wrong date on the mug is endearing. It also meant i didn't have to train on the 5th as i'd already done 5.3 miles!!

In short: Enjoyable XCODE course
In full: First XC since school which is more years ago than I care to remember. First four miles gives a false sense of security as the last mile with ditch jumps and a steep muddy field were energy sapping. Shame the finishing gift had the wrong date on it ! All in all a well organised good race.

In short: Certainly got the pulse racing ...!
In full: A great XC which was generally flat and fast, with one energy sapping muddy field at the end!
Good organisation, but with a 10 minute walk to the start a baggage drop at the race start would have been particularly welcome! Suprising it was a 'leave on the side at the start at your own risk'... hmmmm not likely! Meant for a long walk back getting cold.
Despite this a great XC. Many thanks to the organisers for rescheduling after the Dec cancellation. Really enjoyed it and will be back in December 2011!
