In short: Beautiful scenery but some extended hill climbs can make it a sore one. Date of review: January 14, 2013

In short: Not as tough as I thought and with very good hospitality In full: True there are the hills but what goes up...!
What helped on the rural, undulating course was that there pretty much support at least every half mile throughout.
What sold it for me was the laid back but efficient and friendly organisation. You can sign up on the day, there are good showers and changing facilities and a free swim if you want. The free buffet is a great touch and veryuch appreciated.
No medal but engraved shot glass with Talisker miniature. Only way to improve would be to heve chip timing as it meant a bit of jostling at the start. Date of review: June 11, 2012
