In short: Route is a bit monotonous, but great for a PB. Very flat.
In full: Very hot day, which meant I really did not enjoy this race much as there is almost no shady areas along the route.

In short: A great race, well-organised and definite PB potential
In full: Very hot and personally had a nightmare run but it was very well organised. The standard of runners was very high butit felt very clubby and serious. The start was also difficult as there were a lot of people. Will definitely do it again and great goodie bag!

In short: Great race, brilliant organisation
In full: Well done to Datchet Dashers, the race was well organised from car parking, start, marshalling, toilets to finish and escape from the car park. Especially the great goody bag (I think the best yet!) which included a powerade and sweeties. Only downside is course is a little boring but did a PB so very happy, will be back.

In short: Superb event in every way. Will be back next year.
In full: I'd like to especially thank the 60 minute Datchet Dasher pacers who were brilliant all the way round. Without them I don't think I would have been able to achieve a PB. Hopefully the pacers will be back again next year. All in all a great day, this is an event I would recommend to anyone.

In short: A fun, very well organised race.
In full: This was my first 10K, but I was very impressed with how well organised the race was. I would say this race has excellent PB potential as the course is so flat.

I would say that this race is okay for beginners, as long as you put in plenty of training as it is a quick race and still being quite new to all this I finished quite a way back - but not last I might add!! There was a very nice medal and goody bag to all finishers.

I will definately be back next year.

In short: That aren't many 10k events where you can see the whole course at all times. Well done the Dashers on another well organised event.

In short: Great PB potential - I didn't get on blame the sun and the two glasses of wine the night before
In full: I agree with a previous review that proper timing would be great - when I saw my result it was 20 seconder slower than I expected due to time to cross the line.

Goody bag was fab and I really enjoyed this race although it was very warm !

In short: Very enjoyable thank you
In full: My second Dorney Dash, and another hot one (didn't do it last year). Organisation was amazing, so thanks for that. Not my favourite place to run as I find it a little dull, but it could be a lot worse. Great for spectators, including my two young children. Got a pb (hooray!).

Two things that might improve the event:
1) 'Proper' chip timing, start - finish.
2) Space the start timing markers out a little more, and make them a bit more obvious to people. I started right at the back of the 40-50 min section, but this was still fairly close to the front of the queue. I reckon there were a lot of runners behind me that ran sub 50's (I spent most of the race being over-taken). I ran 51:14 gun time. I blame the sun ;-)

Goodie bag great. Marshalls great. Parking great. Water great. Everyone who helped - great!

In short: Not as good as the sum of its parts
In full: I'm not sure what it was about this race but I just didn't enjoy it. It was flat, interesting, very well organised, in a good location and with a great medal. But it just wasn't a nice run. The heat didn't help but that's no ones fault.

I think it was the open space and long straights. The view of all the runners who were in front of you was quite depressing and the fact that you could see the whole cause made it feel longer. Maybe its just me and others would love it but its just not for me.
