In short: Excellent. In full: A good up and down course with plenty of climbs and real character. The marshals were superb, the scenery pretty and the organisation totally flawless. Hot and sunny on the day but we had regular water stations with even smiling tots handing out bottles and cheering runners on! All in all a complete triumph and a genuine feelgood race.
In short: Fabulously organised event In full: First time I have done this race but won't be the last. The organisation was excellent from start to finish with marshals everywhere, loads of drink stations and lovely cakes for sale at the end. £17 was excellent value especially as we received a nice bag pack, goody bag and excellent high qualtity training shirt. I did this as part of my training for Bournemouth a Marathon in 4 weeks and I can definitely recommend it to anyone doing an autumn marathon who need a challenging course to run on but not worried about failing to get a pb. In short: A nice little challenge In full: A fantastic event put on by Kenilworth Runners. Some challenging little inclines in places but nothing serious. Organization and marshalling was brilliant with water stations aplenty. The bag drop was faultless too! Date of review: September 8, 2014
In short: Great race of just the right size - excellent orgaisation In full: Registration went smoothly - no queues for number/chip pickup. Excellent course with just enough undulation, and well-marshalled all round. Great shirt, lovely weather (bit hot actually). Would have liked water bottles with drinking tops on, but otherwise excellent. Date of review: September 8, 2014
In short: one of the best halfs on the circuit In full: My fifth time running it (injury stopped me running it last year)I had forgotten how challenging the course is and a slight injury niggle stopped a personal best. Lots of uphill but does not drag on for long before a nice down section. Without doubt the organisation of this race is probably the best I have ever come across. Well organised, loads of loos, supportive friendly and really welcoming from start to finish. Nice goody bag and cakes at the end. Excellent quality field but loads of first timers. A must do event Date of review: September 8, 2014
In short: Impeccable organisation, undulating countryside race In full: Very efficient registration, plenty of loos at the start, lovely course out in the countryside and an amazing goody bag and post race facilities. Looking forward to running next year already Date of review: September 8, 2014
