In short: worth doing for the scenery In full: I was carrying injury into run so pb not on for me. The run itself is undulating but the scenery takes your mind of the running when times get a little tough.
Atmosphere is good and crowds supporting were better than i remember previously.
Overall i intend to be back next year as i find this event very enjoyable. Date of review: September 17, 2013
In short: Well organised. Great goody bag this year with fab orange technical top. Brilliant marshalls with loads of support. Love the course ... great if you like hills. My third year and a pb twice .... next year ... oh go on then !! Date of review: September 12, 2013
In short: Great organisation and friendly marshals. In full: Nice technical shirt and goody bag. I liked having the base of the sports centre at the beginning because it made it much easier not hanging around in the cold too much at the beginning. Very picturesque course. In short: It may be lumpy but it's quick! In full: I ran my second fastest half here with a 81 minutes effort and at a grand old age. What a lovely event. Everything is spot on and we even came away with the team prize and the wine was lovely. It may be a rolling course but it's pretty quick and the drop down to the finish is great. Thanks for a superb event team. Date of review: September 6, 2013
In short: Great race, great location !!! In full: Course is challenging, but very picturesque. Have nothing but praise to give to the people behind the organization of the event. Marshals were uplifting, specially on those hard going hilly bits of the course. Date of review: September 3, 2013
