In short: Undulating course especially the first five miles / able to make up time in the second part of the race. Great Organisation and very friendly atmosphere - recommend to anyone building up to their first half marathon and want to test themselves.

In short: A great start to the year. A well organised and friendly race. Fab T-shirt too!
In full: This was my first 10 miler, and a good distance for the beginning of the marathon training schedules. It is fairly undulating, so the flat runner should be warned, but only one major hill!! Parking is well organised, and the club members were welcoming and supportive. The long-sleeved t-shirt is very wearable and you can get a nice cup of tea afterwards too! Higly recommended race.

In short: This is a very good training run. I am a plodder and I didn't feel intimidated in the least. There is a challenging hill around 4-5 miles in but after that there is a significant part of the race that is all down hill and very enjoyable indeed.

In short: Rather stupidly entered thinking it was a 10k and was needless to say rather surprised when the finish line didn't appear after mile marker 6! As had run at 10k pace did not have a lot left in the tank. Must read the entry forms more closely!!
