In short: Fantastic race!
In full: Plenty of information sent out in advance about parking and the walk to the start, so no surprises on race day - just turned up early as advised. The walk to the start served as a great warm up. Getting to the start early meant I could get into the right starting pen, so no complaints there. The much talked about hill at 7km was much smaller than I'd imagined plus knocked 7mins off my PB so will definitely be back! As some have commented previously, it would be good to indicate that the provisional results were gun times not chip times as I did wonder why I was slower that my Garmin suggested. Final results had chip times. Well done to the the organisers and cheerful marshals!

In short: A lovely race that is well run. Looking forward to 2014 now :)
In full: I am not sure what other people are moaning about? The race info post which we received stated that the parking was a short walk away and to get their early. I arrived at the car park 60 mins before the start and did not have nay queue to get my chip. Please don't blame others due to you be a Last Minute type of person.

I had no idea about the early start. As far as I am aware it went off at 11:00 or even after then. When the announcer instructed us to proceed to the start I did. If you chose not too then that is your fault.

There were slow runners jogging 3 or 4 abreast who should have been at the back but how can you avoid that with country lanes. It is annoying but they are no doubt inexperienced.

Personally I thought it was a lovely race and the first time I have done it. I got a PB which was great and the scenery was lovely We got a good quality medal which is all I am interested in. Goodie bags have little use IMO.

There was a great qty of KitKats, Jaffa Cakes and other goodies at the finish which was a nice touch for a 10km. I only expected water so a lovely surprise!

In short: Decent race....plus a PB so musn't grumble.
In full: Nice little race around rural Ashford, felt like a very fast first 4k as it seemed to be either flat or downhill. But....what goes down must come up! Sure enough there was a challenging uphill section at 7k that seemed to take it out of everyone as well as it being quite a hot afternoon. Can't complain about the organisation at all, everything went smoothly even the much mentioned car parking problems. Due to the change of date I don't think it was a full field of runners which made the start less congested as I'd heard it has been previously. Well worth the drive down the M20 and would come back next year.

In short: Well organised, great course
In full: Wish all races could be like this one. Lovely scenic course on closed country lanes, which although testing in parts allows the possibility of PB's.
Well organised throughout and the jaffa cakes and other goodies at the finish were a nice touch.
Great stuff and will be back next year for sure
