In short: Fantastic race In full: Can't fault this one at all. Heaps of parking, use of leisure centre loos rather than portaloos, friendly marshalls, excellent organisation. And plenty to keep the kids amused. Will definitely be back. Date of review: July 11, 2011
In short: Off road loveliness In full: Nice small local run. The start is tricky and narrow so it is essential you get in the right starting group or you will be clipping heels. In the right weather it has PB potential but beware anything with the word 'undulating' in the description if you are not big on hills. Mix of surfaces, and watch out for the people on mountain bikes, much of the route is on the national cycle network. Well organised and I enjoyed it even though my time was pants and it wasn't my day at all. Plan to come back next year. Date of review: July 11, 2011
In short: A lovely run In full: This really is a lovely run, no cars just a pleasant run through the countryside. It's not overly officous like some races, it's just ready steady go. The junior races beforehand makes it a good day out for the whole family. I'll be back with the kids next year. Date of review: July 11, 2011
In short: Charming Cranleigh In full: Was hoping it didn't rain, and instead, ended up with some scorching sun around the 6k mark! First race back after a touch of shin splints and was extremely pleased to make it round.
No problems parking, everyone was super friendly, good facilities and a medal - absolutely nothing to get me grumpy. In fact, strolling up to the starting area an hour early watching the youngsters play cricket, and the 3k runners cross the line made me wish I lived in Cranleigh!
Thanks to the organisers and marshals - sterling job. Date of review: July 10, 2011
