In short: 2010 Superb event, well done In full: Travelled all the way from Lincolnshire and wouldn't hesitate to do it again. Many events could learn from this one. Well done Chippenham. Hope to see you again in 2011 if it fits well with my schedule. Thank you.
In short: 1st half marathon completed. Really motivational, well organised, scenic surroundings In full: Race lived up to its billing in every respect! Value for money, well organised, excellent marshalls and supporters were brilliant. A little on the warm side but pleased with time and would be seeking an improved PB if around for next year. Well done Chippenham Harriers! Date of review: September 28, 2010
In short: This was a complete opposite to the horror story that was Bristol Half! Complete opposite in all areas. Brilliant In full: This restored my opinion of half marathon events! Bristol should take note of how to organise, marshall and finish a race. Excellant all round from the venue to the friendly marshalls and supporting crowds who cheered everyone and anyone. Post race goodie bag was one of the best I've had (can we have a choc bar next year?) and to be given a Tech T at the end - wow! Mightly impressed and will endeavour to persuade friends / club members to do this next year (rather than Bristol!). Keep up the amazing work guys. Thanks for restoring my faith in road running Date of review: September 27, 2010
In short: Great race, with a quick finish if you want to make some time up. In full: Great course and a brill atmosphere. Ached a bit afterwards thanks to the downhill finish. One not to miss! Date of review: September 19, 2010
In short: It took 3 hours to get to Chip from Essex which gave a less than perfect race but was worth the drive for the scenery and fab atmosphere. In full: Realise i'm used to running in Essex with its abssence of hills but I think the route should be advertised as undulating rather than flat. Definitely not PB material although the journey might have something to do with it! Great race and atmosphere though. Date of review: September 19, 2010
