In short: Excellent Grass Roots club organised race.
In full: This is the first year that I have done this race and wasn't quite sure what to expect. The course was very well marshalled, the marshalls were very friendly and supportive and it was great to run on grass as well as pavement. most of my runs over the last couple of years have been in the big mass participation events like London Marathon 2010, Bupa 10K 2009 etc.

I had forgotten how satisfying these smaller events can be and I will definately be back next year to run and have another Hot Dog from the BBQ after the race which were very tasty.

Well done to the organisers.

In short: Excellent local race
In full: This is a brilliant event for runners of all abilities, and the race is very friendly. This is a race organised by runners for runners. Excellent marshals, and the BBQ and bar after was very nice too. Will be back!!

In short: decent race in suburbs, good if you're local, not if you're travelling by car
In full: thought the race itself was a decent course, very well-marshalled and signposted. Pre-race info on the parking in the area could have been better - no-one seemed to know exactly what was going on, or the street names where you could park. I would do again if I needed a 10k that wasn't too hilly

In short: friendly, local race
In full: A nice local (for me) well organised race that was value for money.
There were plenty of marshalls to direct you in the right direction and to stop traffic while you run across the road avoiding puddles! As the others have said earlier the rain held off for the actual race!

In short: Well organised friendly race
In full: Nice mixture of streets and fields, which weren't really muddy, even with rain beforehand. Plenty of friendly marshals to stop traffic and direct you at each turn. Medal, tasteful club t-shirt, proper changing rooms, free showers, tea and biscuits and BBQ at the finish - definitely value for money and a nice way to round off the event.

In full: Really enjoyed this race and great value for money. Got lucky with the weather as it poured downn about half hour before but by the start it was brilliant sunshine! Great barbecue afterwards along with the tea/coffee and sandwiches. Would run this again. Thanks to the organisers for a great day!
