In short: Very very hilly, yet very very rewarding. "The Brute" is a major challenge! Great atmosphere and fantastic organisation. Cannot wait for next year ! Let's hope it does not rain next year !!!! In full: I loved this race, "hilly" does not do it justice, the ups are hard and take it out of your legs, but then there are the glorious down sections, these allow you to open up and achieve your best mile times ever. This year the rain came along in buckets, however everybody at the start line was in good spirit (though we were all dripping wet before the start of the race; yes the rain was that bad !!!!). But once we were off, the race was magnificant,I really enjoyed the challenge and I cannot praise the organisation enough. The Marshalls were fantastic and gave you encouragement all the way round. The "goody bag" is an added bonus and the shirts are very good.
WELL DONE .. Nidd Valley Road Runners, I cannot wait for next year!!!!!!!!!! Date of review: November 2, 2009
