In short: Good race, very hot conditions, cheap medal
In full: Shame about the mix up on the start times, parking was good as was the start.
I didn't have any problems on the first lap with water or traffic but on the second lap the traffic was beginning to get a little congested, with car drivers not giving much of the road away.
The water stations on the second lap seemed a little over worked and I missed a drink because I wasn't going to wait.
The hill at 3 and 8 was tough as was the incline at 4.5 and 9.5.
My biggest gripe was the poor quality cheap medal.

In short: Awful Traffic on the 2nd Lap - Didn't feel safe
In full: They need to sort out the start time and on the 2nd Lap the traffic situation needs improving. At one point there was only just about enough room to run by the side of the cars. It also wasn't helpful to run on the same side of the road as the traffic.

In short: A very enjoyable race, well marshalled and well supported.
In full: More challenging than you would imagine with a reasonable climb at the 3 and 8 mile points. In the heat today I was glad I opted for the 5 mile option !

The race was well marshalled and the traffic relatively quiet given it's a bank holiday weekend. Plenty of parking was available as well.

The uphill gravel road to finish wasn't an ideal end to the race but equally it would be tricky to have a finish on the main seafront road.

I would certainly do this race again - many thanks again to the organisers.

In short: Great marshalls, mixed up start time, dubious water.
In full: I was throuroughly looking forward to this 10 miler. The actual run course was lovely with friendly marshalls giving up their free time. The parking was nice and easy with welcome shade at the finish. The traffic was not a problem as I thought it might have been.

The only two niggles I have though were:
My paperwork said 10 O'clock start. There seemed to be no use of the tannoy to alert runners that the time had been changed. Luckily, my entourage - 2 kids and hubby had plenty to entertain them with the beach, sea and playground.
Also, the water at the second station was filthy. I think people had been dipping sponges in the large tub. Second lap round I avoided this water station.

Finally, I had a lovely swim in the sea and spent the rest of the day at the beach which is very difficult to match!!

In short: Very good race
In full: Very good race, well marshalled. I was worried about the traffic but it is no worse than any other event. Good parking for cars and plenty for spectators to see. The two lap set up is great for spectators also (maximises cheering points!).

The second water station couldnt keep up with demand on lap one, shame some greedy people took two cups, I wasnt going to stop as there was a queue, but I was peeved off when the two cup grabbers decided to pour one over there head, especially when sponges were available as well!

What happened over the start time, im sure the documents said 1000 but an announcement was made sating 1030.. some confusion here which was frustrating!

In short: Nice race bit of a shame that the wheel chair racer had to struggle up that gravel bit at the end. Measured it with garmin as about 10.11 miles? Nice race for spectators, hot day, lots of cars but well controlled by marshalls thanku
