In short: great scenery, friendly atmosphere
In full: one problem with this race - both years I've run it, I'm convinced that the 9km sign is placed too early - the last kilometre is about 1.2km long. Not helpful when you're trying to pace yourself!

In short: All-terrain scenic well run 10k
In full: Very enjoyable race, fantastic coastal scenery. Well organised and marshalled. Some paths are a bit narrow in places so hard to pass other runners, and a few bottle-necks near the start. On balance, well worth doing.

In short: Friendly race with beautiful scenery
In full: This race was wonderfully organised, very well marshalled and was for a good cause. There were some tough climbs and scary descents but also plenty of grassy tracks and well surfaced pathways. All in all a great race that I would definitely do again!

In short: probably the most scenic 10k i have ever done
In full: great race, friendly marshals and wonderful scenery - no way you'll ever get a pb but that really doen't matter as it was all about a friendly race with great views once you had conquered the cliff paths.
how to improve the race? - ban ipods (got stuck behind an oblivious ipod runner taking up the whole of the path), more people on the water station, improve the veteran prizes as one veteran medal for a field of 250 is not good and more details on the results (club and v category would be good)

In short: was very nice, great scenery, quite hilly, narrow and stony paths and gates slowed you down, 1 marshall did not give right direction

In short: Tough race especially 2 to 5k but well worth the pain. I'll be back next time.
In full: I did this 2 years ago and enjoyed it so much, even the hills, that I came back this time and plan to do it again in future. It's well organised and has a good friendly atmosphere. I especially like the BBQ at the end; I knew that there was one and the thought of a nice juicy hot dog at the end helped me up those hills.
