In short: Beautiful, peaceful, good mix of terrain, great welcoming cakes and hot dogs
In full: A lovely race over peaceful moorland - until halfway the only sound was other runners, and after that only murmer of traffice from the A30. Felt right in the middle of the moors. A great approach to, and alongside, Meldon Reservoir, if a bit limited in racing terms - all single file for a while. Warm welcome at the start and very warm at the finish, with great hot dogs and cakes (kept the supporters happy in the meantime, too). I've been meaning to do this one for a while; glad I did, and may well again.

In short: Superb to be out on high moors followed by fast flat finish
In full: A treat to be out on the moors with the turning colours of autumn! (We started at a much higher level than the finish which felt like cheating a bit!)

In short: Good low key race, but a bit expensive.

In short: pleasant race, lovely scenery, short enough to be enjoyable
In full: Uphill start, then mostly level across the moor, last 2 miles flat along a disused railway - now a cycle track. Easier than Haytor, more interesting than Bideford half.
