In short: Beautiful, peaceful, good mix of terrain, great welcoming cakes and hot dogs In full: A lovely race over peaceful moorland - until halfway the only sound was other runners, and after that only murmer of traffice from the A30. Felt right in the middle of the moors. A great approach to, and alongside, Meldon Reservoir, if a bit limited in racing terms - all single file for a while. Warm welcome at the start and very warm at the finish, with great hot dogs and cakes (kept the supporters happy in the meantime, too). I've been meaning to do this one for a while; glad I did, and may well again. Date of review: November 14, 2009
