In short: Great run, excellent route, great finish and medals too
In full: I really enjoyed this race. Weather was ideal. A good mix of road, trail and hills, not forgetting the castle itself. An excellent finish through the town. Very well organised race.

In short: Fantastic race, really enjoyed this one. Brilliant organisation, superb scenery, some tough hills though but the crowd at the finished helped lift me for that. Great bonus having photos included too. Well done to all involved !

In short: so nearly a pb
In full: The weather held out and, compared to last year the runners were faster..
I beat last years time by 6 mins and the course record was smashed by 2.30mins.
Organisation was great

In short: Challenging & Hilly but lovely scenery
In full: The first km was through the high street which was nice and the atmosphere was great then there was a gradual climb from 2km to 5km which is tough going. At 5km it changed from tarmac to grass and went down a very uneven surfaced grass hill and through a valley. I fell as I tripped on a tree route and grazed my arm and then an elderly gentlemen fell and seriously cut his head. I think they need more of a medic attendance at 7km as it is an accident zone.
The scenery was lovely and the last 3km was downhill which was a very welcome relief. At the finish the crowds were great and really encouraging which made the race worthwhile. Definately not a race for a PB.

In short: Nice scenary, long up hils, great race
In full: Really nice scenary, although 70% of this race being up hill came as a rude awakening. The scenary was soon forgotten as the hills kicked in! Nice mix of people and levels. Only complaint was the start, started ok, but quickly back to a walk as the streets narrowed and street furniture approached.
