In short: Not as hilly as you might think, very enjoyable, somehow I missed the cakes!
In full: Although described as hilly it's all relative and if you're used to running in e.g. Devon it was really quite painless. The climbs are mainly gradual rather than lung-bursting, and more than made up for by the lovely 3 mile gentle descent at the end. Much to my surprise I did a PB. Organisation great and no difficulty entering at the last minute. Huge field of runners but no real congestion. Heartily recommended.

In short: Tough race with some very quick runners, but a fabulous race to compete in.
In full: A very hilly race that is always tough. However it is brilliantly organised and excellently marshalled. All the marshalls offer words of support and the cakes at the end make up for everything.I will definetly do this race again and is well worth the entrance fee.

In short: Great stewardship, great course, do it
In full: From start to finish the organisation and marshalling was second to none. The course itself offers a nice mixture of up/down/rural and urban.

Cakes at the end a dream come true.

A hearty well done to all involved.

In short: Great race, really well organised, marshalled an supported, nice towel memento and lovely cake. Course had a few 'ups' that were certainly felt but the last couple of miles down more than compensated for them allowing a fast, strong finish.

In short: 7 miles up, 3 miles down. Deceptively fast course.
In full: My theory is hilly courses are faster than flat ones, and this course gave me a good PB - although it hurt, a lot. Tough first 7 miles which can be run hard because the last 3 are all downhill bar a couple of small hills in the last mile.
Great organisation, super friendly, yummy cakes. Well done Lytchett Striders.
