In short: spit and sawdust event but well done and great marshalls
In full: No special thrills laid on but solid organisation and well worth the 15 quid fee.

Well organised especially with the snow updates and the very hardy but friendly marshalls deserve a mention.

Car parking could be better arranged but the only small issue in an otherwise very worthwhile early season leg stretch.

In short: Excellent organisation in a lovely setting
In full: Very lucky with the weather considering the weeks leading up to the race. Very grateful for the email and website updates. Atmosphere was fantanstic (as was the band), my first 10k and I was made very welcome - on more than one occasion people said well run, a really nice touch. Thanks to all for a great day.

In short: Greaton 10k run - fantastic January run
In full: Excellent organisation, this was a no frills gem. The course was challenging, playful with an ascent of over 1km at about 6km in. It was a cold day, and at race hq it was useful,to find a place out of the wind. Friendly to all, the briefing per race was spot on. Marshals deserve loads of credit as it was not the warmest day. Overall, thanks to all for putting this on.

In short: Challenging and scenic but needs improvement
In full: Lovely location and pleasant, welcoming atmosphere however there were a lot of beginners who probably would have welcomed something more than a paper bag and gel as a memento. Also it would have been nice to have an announcement regarding no prizes being available as there were a group of us waiting in the cold for the presentation which never took place!

In short: Well organised, decent route on reasonably quiet roads
In full: You certainly know the uphill bits. Enjoyed the run out.
