In short: Will be back next year
In full: Really enjoyed this race. No queue for womans toilets as there were lots. Lots of water stattions but not enough gels as had all gone when I got there. One of the best races I have done and will be back.

In short: A great race, well organised and a great goody bag! Thanks to all the Marshalls and Scouts who braved the cold winds and cheered us on!

In short: The 'Ronseal' of half marathons. Does what it says. Well organised, no nonsense.
In full: I did this race last year (1.32) and again this year (1.30) - it is very well organised and good value. I live in a village 5 miles away from start so was familiar with the route which is quite challenging with the undulations. Hill at mile 12 is long but not that steep, definitely a challenge.
Nice to get a logo'd drawstring bag as the goody bag - handy, better than t-shirt last year! Medal is basic but then this isn't a big city marathon. Jellybeans, nice touch.
Little support on way round but marshals were plenty and cheery, on such a c-c-cold day!! Scenery is pretty good, it is 95% rural so a good chance to blow the cobwebs away and get fresh air.
Good atmosphere in school field at finish line, shame no digital clock this year at finish.
Yes I'd do it again next year...hope it grows from 250 to 500 to add bit more atmosphere, which was friendly...but subdued, perhaps cos it was SO cold.
By the way there is a delightful coffee shop in Blackminster Business Park at the start line - perhaps runners could get 10% off in there after the race?!?
Well done Colin & Liz. A good back to basics race that is a pleasure to be a part of.

In short: Well organised small half-marathon
In full: I did this race as it was near to my parents who I was visiting at the weekend. Ideal for a relatively early start which then allowed time for mothers day lunch after 13 miles through glorious countryside where I grew up. I would do this race again, however I thought it a little on the expensive side for a goody bag which contained just jelly beans & a cheapish looking medal. That being said I enjoyed the run & appreciate that any proceeds are to go to charity so maybe I'm being a bit selfish here.

In full: I was meant to do last year's (2012) race but had to pull out due to injury, so I was looking forward to it this year.
It was a small race, but brilliantly organised and a fantastic atmosphere. All the club runners that I thought would be a bit scary, we're, in fact, all lovely. I was paced round by a very kind club runner and got a PB by 10 mins :-)
It was my first very positive race experience and as a result I will definitely be back.
There isn't lots of support on the way round, but I wouldn't expect there to be (especially not when it's cold and windy), but the marshals and the chaps manning the water stations were fab!
I would recommend this race to anyone, but would add that you need to make sure you can tackle hills and are comfortable on an undulating course. All of which is well worth it for the beautiful scenery (and a couple of very nice looking pubs that you run past)!

In short: Great race so very very cold !!!!
In full: Did this last year in the glorious sunshine, well marshalled and great atmosphere at finish line. This year oh it was cold oh so cold, fair play to the marshals who had to stand out in that for two and a half hours !! Understandably the support around the course and finish was sparse but this was totally understandable giving the cold and wind. The race itself is good, nice staggered start great scenery , a few undulations, nice hill towards the end to test you out. Good medal and goody bag. These guys do a great job, only two minor niggles this year, not enough toilets at hq quite a large que for the men's. goody bag could have done with a bottle of water, I know there were cups available at the finish, but a bottle to drink on the walk back to the car would have been appreciated. The drawstring back was a welcome change from the usual tshirts.

In short: Highly Recommended 1/2 Marathon
In full: A lovely, slightly undulating road race around an attractive area near Evesham. The race was not too busy, which for me is a positive, but this does mean not many spectators, which means not much vocal support on the way round. Good facilities at the school, and finishing on the school field is great as you can lie down on the cool grass to recover. Highly recommended, but rather selfishly I hope it doesn't get too busy!
