In short: Gloriously Brutal
In full: Lovely picture book village scenery, some stunning views. 2 killer hills, one at 4k then the final descent on 9k. Boggy in places through the woods which make your footwork a bit challenging but keeps your concentration high, lovely flat bit from 5k to 8k can get a good lick on there. Lovely weather for it today, great organisation, lovely cakes and friendly people everywhere.

In short: Still hard as nails! Killer hills, tough boggy track. Loved it!
In full: Organisation was silky smooth, great marshals cheering you on, awesome medals and goody bag for the price of it which is very reasonable. The two hills in the course are tough, especially the second. It lives up to its name, I will be back next year and the next.
