In short: Loved it from start to finish
In full: Well organised from beginning to the end. Coffee and cake at start bit of a muddy run in middle then soup and a roll to finish, gets no better . Weather was perfect course was a good mix of hills mud and quite lanes with a good few hills to keep you honest. Pairs running was a good format and the marshals were great very friendly making it more enjoyable. Will be back next year to give it another blast.

In short: A fantastic race can't wait for next year
In full: Entered on a whim when saw on Facebook. We weren't locals but was well worth the 3 hr journey. Fantastic organisation and atmosphere from singing happy birthday to one of the runners before the start to the flapjack and soup and bun after. Challenging course but the fantastic scenery made it a pleasure to run. Marshall with antlers was lovely and the man who said it was all downhill just before the big hill at 12 miles was cruel ( but also lovely) will definately be making the trip back next year. Beanie hat was a lovely prize and will be worn with pride. My 1st off road race but definately not my last
